Volunteer Interest Form

Past Emeriti Faculty have expressed a desire to have greater connection with the work of the College after retirement. We are extremely thankful for your service and you have certainly earned a respite. But for those of you who want to continue supporting the College’s mission through volunteer efforts, we want to learn your interests so that we can let you know of opportunities that may arise. Please check any of the following that interest you.

- Tutoring students
- Mentoring students on academic success
- Mentoring junior faculty
- Mentoring faculty moving into administrative roles such as chairing, leading an academic initiative, entering the Provost’s office, etc.
- Leading focus groups/conducting interviews as part of a special project assigned by the Provost
- Completing a special project assigned by the Provost (for example, comparing a Carleton policy with those of our peers)
- Visiting alumni groups
- Serving on student fellowship selection committees
- Hosting international students (mentoring, inviting them to dinner, etc.)
