Embodied Tour with Leila Awadallah

Fri, January 31, 2025 • 5:00pm - 6:00pm (1h) • Perlman Teaching Museum

Join us for an embodied tour of our current exhibition, Only sounds tremble through us, featuring artists Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme.  The tour will be led by Leila Awadallah, a Palestinian-American dance and choreographer based in Minneapolis.

During this one-hour event, participants will spend time immersing themselves in the exhibition and be guided through gestural movement prompts and mirroring practices to explore embodied responses to the artwork on view.

No prior dance experience is needed.  This event is free and open to all.

Thank you to the Elizabeth Nason Distinguished Visitors Fund for their support of Leila Awadallah's week long residency in the Carleton College's Theater and Dance department.
