Bio:
Mr. Hague ’91 is the Founder of Janian Investment Advisers, which serves individuals’ investment and financial planning needs. He earned his BA from Carleton College (of which he is a past President of the Alumni Association) and MBA from the University of Chicago. While completing his MBA, he interned at Oak Investment Partners, a venture capital firm, and Donaldson Capital Management, a hedge fund firm. After graduating, he worked at Glenwood Investments, LLC, a fund-of-hedge-funds firm, where his last title was Associate Portfolio Manager. James left Glenwood to join Millburn Ridgefield Corporation, a managed futures hedge fund and fund-of-funds firm. He served as Senior Portfolio Manager and a member of the Investment Committee for a fund-of-hedge-funds and a fund-of-long-only-equity-accounts, both of which beat the stock market over his decade-long tenure. He is a former volunteer at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago and a current member of the Santa Rosa City Schools Citizen’s Oversight Committee.
