Anna McGinn (Carleton ’18)

Anna McGinn ’18 is a staff attorney at the Great North Innocence Project.  She screens, investigates, and litigates cases involving claims of actual innocence in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.  She leads innocence clinics at South Dakota and Minnesota law schools.  Since starting with the Great North Innocence Project in 2022, Anna has helped secure freedom for four innocent men and women who spent a collective total of 62 years in prison for crimes they did not commit.

At Carleton, Anna was on the varsity swim team.
