Professor Amna Khalid (History) and Professor Jeff Snyder (Educational Studies) are delivering a talk at 7PM on Thursday, February 5 at St.John’s Lutheran Church (500 W. Third Street). The talk, which is open to the public, is titled, “Free Speech and Higher Education: Why You Should Care.” Professors Khalid and Snyder will discuss today’s unprecedented attacks on higher education, emphasizing how the freedom to learn is under siege from statehouses and the federal government.
