    Economics Professors Jenny Bourne and Nathan Grawe presented a paper, “How Broad Liberal Arts Training Produces PhD Economists: Carleton’s Story” on January 3, at the annual meeting of the American Economics Association in Boston. A revised version of the paper will appear in the Journal of Economic Education.

  • Robert Will – 2014 Recipient of the Joseph Lee Heywood Distinguished Service Award!

    Robert Will, Professor Emeritus of Economics, received the 2014 Joseph Lee Heywood Distinguished Service Award and was honored at a dinner on September 3, 2014. Professor Will taught at Carleton College for over 35 years (1957-1993). Solidifying his name as one of the Emeritus Professors of the Economics Department, he possesses an influence that stretches far outside the classroom.
