Students considering off-campus studies must work directly with the Off-Campus Studies office (Leighton 119) on all aspects of planning, applying and confirming participation in any off-campus studies program.
Carleton Off-Campus Studies: OCS Homepage.
Researching Current Programs: Gateway to program pages and advising questions.
Policies and Procedures: Link to information about credit, transfers, deadlines, and other important details.
OCS Advising: OCS encourages students to schedule an appointment to start planning their OCS experiences as soon as possible. OCS advisers can also discuss global engagement opportunities available through the Career Center, the Office of Student Fellowships, and the Center for Global and Regional Studies.
Recommendations: The OCS application software allows students to request academic, non-peer personal, language, and academic adviser recommendations. Advisers and recommenders can log into the OCS Portal to view their pending and completed recommendation requests:
- 1. Login to the OCS Portal – login is on the upper right-hand side of the screen
- 2. Click on the house icon on the upper left-hand side of the screen and select Recommender
