Hello. My name is Travis and I spent the first half of my professional life in Business management. Because of an undue amount of stress related to my roles and how it affected my health I decided to take a U turn and landed on becoming a Locksmith. I have now been a locksmith for 20+ years and I enjoy the many challenges that comes with the job as well as working with my hands and mind. I have run my own business as a Locksmith and I receive satisfaction in helping others when they are in need.
At Carleton since 2021.
I have many personal interest. First and foremost is my spirituality. Honoring my creator in the way I live my life and helping others establish their foundations on rock not on sand brings me great satisfaction. I also enjoy creating music through guitar, bass, voice and several other instruments.
I accepted the invitation to be a part of the Carleton Staff Counsel because I hope to be a positive advocate in helping the environment and community at Carleton be as welcoming and comfortable as possible for all staff. I have an extensive background in Conflict Management with the State of Minnesota as a Facilitator and Moderator so I hope to use that skillset as well to create greater unity.
