Prior to joining Carleton, I was a postdoctoral researcher and Computing Innovations Fellow at the University of Washington’s Center for Learning, Computing, & Imagination. My scholarship includes computing education research, digital youth, and human-centered computing, particularly in critical and effective technology learning experiences for youth. I have been named a Harper Fellow, an EECS Rising Star, and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. My research has won multiple Best Paper-type awards at the International Computing Education Research Conference (ICER) and the conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI).
