Renee Faulkner, Ed.M. joined Carleton in 2021. Renee came to Carleton with over 15 years experience in direct student services, program management, and partnership development in non profits, government, and higher education. Most recently, Renée served as an Associate Director at Jobs for the Future, a national nonprofit focused on driving economic advancement through improvement in education and workforce systems. There she worked closely with California education leaders to develop careers pathways in K-12 and community colleges. Prior to JFF Renee designed and launched a national “near peer” college advising  program for low-income, high-achieving high school students through an initiative called CollegePoint. She also served as a program officer for the Obama Administration’s flagship education reform initiative, Race to the Top. Renee began her career in admissions at Pomona College and as trainer at the Posse Foundation.

Renee holds a BA in public policy from Pomona College and a master’s degree in higher education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
