[she/her]
I was born and raised in rural Minnesota. My undergraduate career was spent across the river at St. Olaf College where I majored in Nursing and played four years of collegiate volleyball. I am delighted to be back in Northfield and at Carleton College, becoming more familiar with the beauty of Carleton’s campus and serving its students.
I started my career as a Registered Nurse in long term care, telemetry, and critical care units. In 2019, I graduated from Purdue University with my Master’s in Science to become an Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, I have provided care in long term care and family practice clinics.
At Carleton College, I hold a dual role of Health Practitioner and Infectious Disease Lead. As a health practitioner, I see students at the Student Health and Counseling Center on campus, partnering to meet both acute and chronic health needs. As Infectious Disease Lead, I work on a broader scale to assess the public health needs of campus within the lens of Infectious Disease, providing education and guidance where it is warranted.
As a medical provider, I am a generalist – caring for all physical and mental health concerns. I do have a special interest in student athletes, sexual and gender health, and infectious diseases.
At Carleton since 2023.
