I majored in Chemistry at Carleton and graduated in 2008, then did graduate work at Caltech in Professor Harry Gray’s lab. I received my PhD in 2013, then did a two year postdoc at the University of Washington as the 2014-2016 ACS Irving S. Sigal Postdoctoral Fellow. I then did a three year postdoc at Yale (working part time, while also parenting) in Professor James Mayer’s lab.
