Kim received her B.A. in Psychology and Social Studies Education as well as a Minnesota Teaching License from St. Olaf College. She holds an MAEd and graduate certificate in Urban Teaching from Hamline University. She currently serves as Immediate Past President of the MNTRIO Association.
