Introduction and Professional History

As the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Political Science/International Relations, the Public Policy Program, and the Africana Studies Program (interim), Julie provides administrative support to faculty and students including coordinating and maintaining travel, calendars, web pages, newsletters, supplies, data tracking, events, speaker visits, and general administrative support. 

Before coming to Carleton, Julie spent nearly three decades in administrative assistant, office manager, and executive assistant roles where she supported small to large teams managing schedules, coordinating meetings, event planning, production planning and tracking, supply management, travel planning, budgeting, client services, overall office efficiency and daily operations management. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software are crucial for success in this role, as they ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to overall office efficiency.
