Education & Professional History
David Delgado obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky in 2019. His research explores Iberian cultural production, particularly Spanish contemporary poetry, narrative, and cinema through the lens of urban and environmental cultural studies. In the past, he has published on Spanish contemporary poetry and novel.
In his classes, Delgado practices a pedagogy that fosters deep learning and ensures that education remains current and responsive to present challenges. His teaching is always committed to preparing students for lives of meaning, purpose, and active citizenship locally and globally, and thus bringing real-life experiences to class.
