Christa Carlson (she/her) serves as the Chaplain’s Office Coordinator. In this role she helps to plan and organize the various programs and services offered by the Chaplain’s Office. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Luther College (‘02) and has worked in crisis intervention at a mental health agency in Kent, OH where she answered crisis calls and trained volunteers in crisis intervention skills. Christa is the mom of two kids, ages 15 and 11. After her oldest was born, she decided to become a stay-at-home-mom until she began work at Carleton.
