Half Costa Rican and half Minnesotan, I had the wonderful experience of growing up in San Jose while visiting Carleton for my mother’s Reunions and see our extended family every five summers. This familiarity with the college as well as a strong interest in the liberal arts thanks to the International Baccalaureate program lead to my enrollment and eventual graduation with a Political Science degree as part of the Class of 2020. I returned to Carleton in 2021, working for the office that hosted the happiest memories of my visits to the United States.
I now work as an Alumni Engagement Officer providing logistical support to the Carleton Young Alumni program, manage the office social media, provide strategic communications support for all office programs, and onsite support during external relations events.
