Schulze and Weitz Cafes will resume regular term hours of operation on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023.

Sayles Café will be closed December 24th – January 1st. Hours of Operation on January 2nd, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Standard hours of operation start on January 3rd, 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Burton dining hall will open for winter term at dinner on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

LDC will open for winter term at dinner on Monday, January 2, 2023. Regular hours of operation at LDC start Tuesday, January 3.

Winter Break Hours of Operation

Winter break meal plans are offered and are primarily for students living on campus during the break, but any student in or around Northfield or employee may purchase them. We are offering a 5, 10 and 20 meal plan available November 23rd – December 23rd. These plans are to be used in Sayles Café, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Breakfast, Chef’s Fare and limited grill menu will be available along with Grab & Go items and barista. These meals are good during breakfast and lunch and do not expire at the end of the week. Any meals left over at the end of the winter break will not be refunded.

Meal plans offered Winter Break 2022:

5 meals + $25 dining dollars for $50
10 meals for $67.50
20 meals for $135

Dining halls and Sayles Café hours of operation during New Student Week.

Plastic is out. Usefull is in. Find Usefull on campus at the dining halls and cafes.

A meal plan for use in Sayles Café is available for students living and working in Northfield over the summer as well as Carleton employees. We are offering a 10, 20 and 50 meal plan (the 50 meal plan is not available after 7.20.2022) that can be used starting on Tuesday, June 7th. These meal plans are good for any meal period and do not expire at the end of the week. Any meals left at the end of the summer will not be refunded. There are no dining dollars attached to any of the plans.

Due to construction projects, locations for summer meals will move around (either Sayles Café, Schulze Café or LDC). Signs will be posted in all locations directing students and staff to the café or dining hall scheduled to be open that day for summer meals.
