The Diet-Climate Connection

12 September 2012

David Freudberg is the host of a National Public Radio program called Humankind, produced in the studios of WGBH in Boston, Massachusetts. Recently, he featured Carleton College and Bon Appétit Management Company in a segment titled The Diet-Climate Connection. The program discusses the growing trend of procuring more and more locally produced food, not just for the family dinner table, but for public schools, colleges and universities, and corporate kitchens. Listen to The Diet-Climate Connection and learn more about the reasons behind this change in institutional behavior.

We’re excited that local farmers, Erin Johnson and Ben Doherty of Open Hands Farm in Northfield were also interviewed for the program.
