    Sayles Café summer hours start on Wednesday, June 6th, 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Closed Saturdays and Sundays.

    NOTE:  Sayles will be open on Saturday, June 9th, 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., for commencement.

    This meal is part of the BOARD PLAN. Burton and LDC will be closed for dinner. Sayles Café will be open regular hours.
    NOTE:  If you plan to have dinner at the Spring Concert but are NOT on a Board Plan, you should use your SCHILLERS. Cash will NOT be accepted.

    The dining halls will be removing disposable cups on Saturday, February 24th, to shed some light on the waste of disposable cups, sleeves and lids.

    February 18 – 24:  Interested in seeing how you can participate in Climate Action Week?  Pledge to go meatless one day a week.  Think of ways you can reduce waste.  For example, pledge to reduce food waste by going trayless, shopping with a list, or only buying what you will use.  Also, look for the CAW sticker on menu signs indicating the best choice for a Low Carbon Diet.

  • Sayles Café Saturday Signature Desserts

    Please join us for Sayles Signature Desserts!  Each Saturday during the month of January Sayles will be serving a different float or shake. 

              January 13th – Mint Chocolate Chip Shake
              January 20th – Creamsicle Float
              January 27th – Chocolate Cake Shake

    Floats and shakes will be served from 8:00 p.m. to close.  Smoothies will not be available during this time.

     

  • Sayles Café Featuring Bread Bowls in January

    Sayles Café will be serving a different soup each week in January: beef chili, broccoli cheese, chicken wild rice and beer cheese.  Try your soup in a bread bowl.  It’s a great way to warm up on a cold winter’s day!

    The Bon Appétit café team frequently selects a recipe to be featured in the dining halls.  Whether you’re a student with a favorite recipe you hope to see in the dining halls, or a parent wanting to have your student’s favorite home-cooked recipe featured – send it in!  Who knows…YOUR recipe may be featured!  Submit a RECIPE FROM HOME.

  • Celebrate Oktoberfest in Burton and LDC!

    Come celebrate Oktoberfest with us during lunch at Burton and LDC on Tuesday, October 24th!  Entrée will be beer brats served with creamy sauerkraut and chives, shredded caramelized Brussel sprouts or tomatensalat (tomato salad) and your choice of coffee, tea or a fountain soda.
