2017 Summer Meal Plans: June 7th – September 5th6 June 2017
Summer Meal Plans will be active June 7th – September 5th when LDC or Burton are open. Summer meals will be served at LDC through June 29th lunch. Burton will be open for summer meals July 8th – September 5th. All dining services are closed between June 29th and July 8th.

Spring Concert 201717 May 2017
Burton and East Dining Halls will be closed for dinner for Spring Concert. Dinner will be served behind the Recreation Center from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This meal is part of the Board Meal Plan. If you are not on a Board Meal Plan, your Schillers will be charged. Sayles Café will be open regular hours.
Cinco de Mayo3 May 2017
Sayles, Burton and LDC will be featuring Mexican inspired cuisine in honor of Cinco de Mayo for lunch and dinner. Sayles will be featuring Pork Tamales, Mexican Street Corn, and Cocos Frescos. Burton will be serving Pork Pozole, Chicken Flautas, and Torta de Milanesa. LDC will be featuring Beef and Cheese Enchiladas, Mexican Sopas, Roasted Pepper and Portabella Fajitas with Guacamole, and Taco Pizza for lunch and dinner.

Wednesday, May 3rd: Hydrate the Healthy Way. On average, our bodies contain 50-65% water. Water is vital, as it supports numerous bodily functions and needs to be replenished as it is consistently lost through sweat, respiration and excretion. Good hydration supports brain focus, body temperature regulation, and absorption of essential nutrients – important reasons to stay hydrated! Come to LDC and Burton at lunch and sip in style with different flavors of spa waters!

Do you have the BEST cookie recipe at Carleton? Put your cookie recipe to the test in Carleton’s Cookie Baking Contest. Teams of two or three will put their cookie baking skills to the test. Teams will have the chance to serve their cookies to Carleton students on Monday, April 24, at dinner in LDC from 4:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The winning cookie recipe will be featured @ Burton, LDC and Sayles. 7th Inning Stretch Baseball Menus5 April 2017
Friday, April 7th: Burton, LDC and Sayles Café will be featuring Ballpark favorites to welcome the start of baseball season. LDC will be featuring Milwaukee Brewers Aged Cheddar Beer Soup, Ballpark Chili, Nacho Bar, Soft Pretzels, Target Field Chicken Tikka Rice Bowl, and Ballpark Franks during lunch and dinner. Burton will be featuring Cheese Curds and Corn Dogs. Sayles will be featuring a Virgin Bloody Mary Bar.

Thursday, April 6: Want to meet the farmers who grow the food you are eating in the dining halls? This is a great opportunity to meet the wonderful farmers in our area and learn more about how the food you eat is grown. Dinner begins at 5:45 p.m. in Burton. Reginaldo Haslett-Marroquin from Main Street Chicken will be here for a book signing of his recently published book. Details to follow!
