Everyone is invited to a Farmer Appreciation Dinner from 5pm-7pm in Burton Dining Hall. Join Northfield area farmers for dinner and conversation. Go through the line at Burton and proceed to the Sevy Meeting Room. Following dinner, the movie “Food Chains” will be shown in the Weitz Center for Creativity beginning at 7:30. The movie features writer Eric Schlosser and actress Eva Longoria and shows the human cost hidden in our food supply. It documents the inspiring work of a group of tomato pickers from Florida, the Coalition of Immokalee Workers.
