Omeka — Hands On with this Digital Humanities Publishing System
You have decided to explore Digital Humanities. Fantastic! But how will you put your scholarship online for colleagues and the public to see and explore? This session introduced you to Omeka, a flexible and open source web-publishing platform for the display of scholarly collections and exhibitions. At this session we showed you examples of other digitial humanities projects using Omeka, we got you started with a free Omeka site, discussed together how you might want to use such a tool, then helped you experiment with this platform.
