NORTHFIELD TO SELMA TRIP

Interest Form Deadline: Friday, March 31, 2023

Description:

The Dean of Students Office invites Carleton staff and faculty to participate in a 10-day trip exploring key places and events in civil rights history.  This trip will give participants the opportunity to examine the history and culture of our nation by visiting national museums and monuments relating to this theme.  The objective is to link this history with social struggles that still exist today in order to imagine ways to mindfully participate in the ongoing movement for equality and social change.  The trip will be led by the Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students, Carolyn H. Livingston.

Trip Dates:

6/11-6/21/2023. We will depart from Carleton on the morning of Sunday, June 11 and return to campus on the evening of Wednesday, June 21.
