Response to High Temperatures in the Residence Halls

28 May 2018

Dear Carls,

We find ourselves in the midst of an unusual May heat wave in Northfield. We are working now to turn on the air conditioning in the few residential locations where it is available (Davis, Nourse, Watson, Musser hallways, and the Townhouses). Also, Sayles-Hill hours will remain open 24/7 with your one-card to provide an additional air conditioned space in which you may seek refuge.

Weather reports suggest that this heat may extend into next week, and we will do what we can to provide some relief. Please also be sure you are staying hydrated, and if you notice anyone experiencing extreme difficulties with the heat, please contact Security (x4444) immediately so that medical assistance or other help may be deployed.
