Students interested in transferring from Carleton should book a meeting with Dean Sindy Fleming to discuss the process and address any questions or concerns.
Helpful information when applying to other institutions:
- Students need to submit their own transcripts to other institutions. At Carleton, you can request an official college transcript via Parchment.
- Students need to submit their own Mid-Term Report. The Mid-Term Reports need to be completed by professors and then submitted by the student or professor. The Dean of Students Office does not process Mid-Term Reports.
- If our Dean of Student’s Office needs to complete the Transfer College Report and send to an email address (Common App, Scoir, or college specific forms):
- Complete the top portion of the form (as indicated on the form).
- Upload it to Request to Complete Transfer College Report and specify the deadline(s) and email(s) for submission.
- We will not send the completed report to the student unless the form indicates that the student does NOT waive their rights to see it.
- If our Dean of Student’s Office needs to complete the Transfer College Report through an online portal or email invitation, please list Diana Lunow (dlunow@carleton.edu) in the portal.
- Please still submit a Request to Complete Transfer College Report so we can track and fulfill these requests. Specify which college(s) and any deadline(s).
Please allow one week for our office to process these requests.
