On the day we normally would have celebrated Dacie Moses’s 139th birthday with a celebratory Sunday brunch, Carleton was restricted by the COVID-19 pandemic rules so a special brunch was out of the question. Instead, a few of Dacie’s friends who serve on the Dacie Moses House Committee visited her grave site in the Oak Lawn Cemetery during the normal brunch time. We thanked her for her legendary hospitality and the gift of her home and traditions to Carleton.
