When Dacie was alive she frequently allowed students and alumni to stay in her house when they visited campus, and she was pleased to have students’ parents and friends stay with her when they visited. In the spirit of continuing Dacie’s tradition, the Liz McKune ’70 Guest Room (named after a former resident – check out her Elder Story) is used as a hostel for visiting alumni, prospective students, parents, friends, and visiting artists and folk singers. The room, managed by the student residents, is very simple but it does include two twin beds and a bathroom (shower is shared with house residents). The suggested tax-deductible donation is $50-$75 per night for one or two people. Donations directly support special projects and programming for the house, specifically buying groceries for Sunday Brunch.
Thank you for your love and care of this house.
