Message to Campus about Initial Fall Term Results

17 September 2021

Dear Members of the Carleton Community,

When you visit the COVID-19 Dashboard today, you’ll notice that it has been updated to reflect two very promising data points:

  • Our first round of baseline testing, which was completed on Tuesday, resulted in an overall positivity rate of 0.04%, with one positive case of the virus detected among 2,769 tests.
  • The 14-day positive rate of our campus community, which was calculated today for the first time, is 0.07%. This represents two positive cases of the virus within our community over the most recent two-week period.

We hope this news finds you closing out the first week of Fall Term on an encouraging note. Thank you for all that you are doing to keep our community safe.

Sincerely,

The COVID-19 Core Team

Eric Runestad, Vice President and Treasurer
