Convocation with Jorge Castañeda

Jorge Castañeda, who served as Foreign Minister of Mexico from 2000 to 2003, is a renowned public intellectual, political scientist, and prolific writer.  With expertise in Mexican and Latin American politics, comparative politics and US-Mexican and U.S.-Latin American relations, he has been a professor at a number of colleges and universities including the University of California Berkeley, Princeton University, New York University, the University of Cambridge, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.  A regular commentator for CNN and an occasional writer of guest essays at The New York Times, Castañeda is also the author of more than 20 books, including his most recent, America Through Foreign Eyes.
