- Summer Research Opportunities – details for this year’s projects are located here. Reach out to the listed faculty members with any questions you have about specific projects. The application deadline for these opportunities is Friday February 14, 2025.
- TA Opportunities for SLAI (Summer Liberal Arts Institute). SLAI hires many Carleton students each summer. You could be a Program and Community Assistant, an Assistant Coach for Ultimate, or a Teaching Assistant. Details on these positions. The application deadline for these opportunities is Wednesday February 26, 2025.

- Are you a first or second year student interested in science, math, statistics, and/or computer science? Are you looking for an opportunity to see what STEM research is really like? If so, consider applying to Carleton’s Summer Science Fellowship! The goal of the Summer Science Fellowship is to broaden participation of historically underrepresented groups (based on gender, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, or disability) in the sciences and math. Carleton Summer Science Fellows have the opportunity to work in a research lab either at Carleton or at another institution for two summers. Summer Science Fellows participate in group meetings and activities both before and after the summer research experience and are expected to enroll in the 1 credit Science Fellows Research Colloquium both in the spring before and the fall following their research experience. Application Deadline: Friday, February 14, 2025, 5 PM.
- University of Michigan 2025 Big Data Summer Institute 6/16 – 7/25 — Application (closes when all positions are filled or 3/15/25 whichever comes first).
