Graduate School applications in Algorithms!
Deadline: **December 15th**
The Algorithms and Theory Group at Dartmouth is looking for 3-4 graduate students this upcoming academic year. We have a small and energetic group of faculty members, graduate students and undergraduate students conducting high-quality research in various areas ranging from classic ones such as algorithms, complexity theory, discrete optimization, distributed computing, and also on algorithmic applications in big-data, machine learning, fairness, economics, geometry and topology. We plan to grow our group in the next few years in all aspects. Details of our group and activities can be found at the link above.
The Computer Science department is housed in the Class of 1982 Engineering and Computer Science building which is an award-winning new facility. Dartmouth College is in the beautiful town of Hanover in New Hampshire, USA. It is a liberal arts school with a fantastic faculty-to-student ratio, and all our students have access to plenty of faculty time. Although rural, Hanover is located close to Boston which is easy to get to by a convenient bus service, and we often get visitors from and also visit the many schools in the Boston area.
If you are a student interested in pursuing deeper studies into the beautiful and important field of algorithms and theory of computation, then do consider applying to Dartmouth. The application deadline is December 15th.
