Innovation Scholars Info Session

18 September 2026

Ready to get hands-on with a real-world project? Come to the Innovation Scholars Program Information Session to learn how you can earn a $2,000 stipend and gain valuable experience working with a biomedical startup.

When: Tuesday, Sept 22, 12:15-1pm

Where: Alumni Guest House, Room 114

Bonus: Lunch will be served!

Partnering with a cardiovascular medical device company, this year’s project focuses on analyzing the potential for a new technology that prevents strokes resulting from heart procedures. We’re looking for a diverse team of four undergraduates working with an MBA leader to tackle key areas like market analysis, product strategy, and regulatory logistics.

This opportunity is for you if you’re interested in:

  • Working on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Applying skills in areas like business, physics/engineering, health sciences, entrepreneurship, or behavioral science
  • Solving real-world problems
  • Gaining experience outside of the classroom

The project runs from late October through late February (approx. 150-160 hours total), with a flexible hybrid format. It’s open to all majors.

Can’t make the session but want to learn more? Feel free to reach out to the faculty mentors listed below or me.

We hope to see you there!

Best,

Sara Nielsen,

Innovation Scholars Campus Liaison
