It can’t compare to 10 Legendary Easter Eggs in the Tech Industry but it will be fun!
CS Egg Hunt Rules / Game Mechanics:
- Anyone can play (as individuals or in groups) but only students can win a prize.
- Plastic eggs have been hidden in the CS Dept. spaces on 3rd Olin, only. Some contain candy / some puzzle pieces.
- Eat the candy; NOT the puzzle pieces!
- Take the puzzle pieces to the official puzzle table in Olin 306, and try to assemble them with the goal of identifying what the puzzle is a picture of. Others will do the same and as more pieces are found, it will become clear what the image is.
- Use the QR code posted near the table to record your guess in our form (along with your name and members of your group). You can guess up to 3 times–more than that, and we’ll no longer consider you in the running for a prize. We’ll know if you are just randomly guessing if you guess before some of the puzzle is assembled. Note: yes the picture of the puzzle includes pieces of candy, but you need to assemble a lot of the puzzle to identify the underlying image.
- The first 3 people / groups to correctly identify the image in the puzzle win a prize for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. There is a small prize for finding the last egg with puzzle pieces.
- Return empty eggs to the box outside of Olin 331 or the box in Olin 306 so they can be refilled and rehidden (with additional candy). Yay!
- A list of incorrect guesses will be displayed outside Olin 306.
Please note: this puzzle is the personal property of Marla (Dept. Admin) and it’s one of her family’s favorites. Please take care not to lose or damage any of the pieces. It would make her very sad.
