Juan Pablo Hourcade, Professor at the University of Iowa, will discuss human factors that have been involved in changes in the history of computing, making processes more efficient, broadening who can use computers, and expanding the applications of computing. In this talk, Hourcade presents a vision for children’s technologies that contrasts with prevailing industry approaches.
