Community TechFest

Saturday, November 12, Black Tech Talent is producing a Community TechFest at Minneapolis College from 12-4:30 pm. This event is free for Carleton students. Reference “Carleton22” as the discount code when you arrive. No need to pre-register.

The Black Tech Talent Community TechFest is a one-day, all-ages event focused on introducing the different possibilities technology can offer in improving the lives of the Black community. Black Tech Talent (BTT) aims to increase the representation of Black technologists in both corporate careers and entrepreneurship. They’re doing this by curating a pipeline of job opportunities, education, community, and culturally specific content. Led by 40 Under 40 CEO Mike Jackson, BTT has built a community of over 7,000 members worldwide, produced two international summits worked with 100+ corporations, and won 6 awards in just two years. Activities feature robots, virtual reality, coding, gaming, career opportunities, and more!
