Code to PhD (codetophd.github.io/) is an inter-university PhD student-run initiative that aims to support students applying to CS-related PhD programs and find mentorship to support them throughout their graduate programs.
They will be hosting monthly office hours, the first Sunday of every month, starting this Sunday, April 6 (2-4PM ET, 1-3PM CT, 11-1PM PT). These monthly office hours will be a chance for prospective students and applicants to ask questions about all things PhD! This upcoming session, our co-hosts will be PhD student volunteers from Tufts, Columbia, and UChicago, coming from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Additionally, they will be hosting a panel on “Demystifying Computer Science Research Experiences,” April 29 (8PM ET, 7PM CT, 5PM PT), answering questions and discussing how to get research assistantships, internships, and REUs. For the event Zoom link and details, click here.
