Carleton Students Compete in World Finals!

6 May 2024

Three Carleton Computer Science students (Batmend Batsaikhan, Luca Araujo, and alum, Zimri Leisher) were invited to attend the World Finals for the International Collegiate Programming Contest. The team flew to Luxor, Egypt, for a week-long event culminating on the last day in a five-hour contest.  Out of 130 teams, the Carleton team placed 106th; a great finish when you take into account that they were competing against the best programming teams in the entire world!

Note: there were very few liberal arts schools represented.
