Carleton College Game Jam Starts Friday, May 1

27 April 2026

The CGDC Annual Game Jam is a challenge in which participants are given a theme and have to make a video game based around that premise in 48 hours or less. It’s a great way to meet people interested in game development, and a great way to learn more about the skills and techniques that go into making a finished video game project. No experience required, this event is a low stakes opportunity for all artists, programmers, writers, musicians, and more to work with cool people on campus to make something you’re proud of!

The event launches in Olin 304, 6:00pm on Friday, May 1st, and runs until Sunday, May 3rd at 6:00pm. Show up to find out more, or check out the Itch page to sign up and join the Discord to ask more questions!
