Professor Milne’s research is broadly in the field of accessibility and centers around making digital interfaces more accessible for people with disabilities. This talk will cover three primary research projects: StructJumper, an Eclipse plug-in that helps blind programmers navigate code structure more efficiently; Blocks4All, an accessible introductory programming environments for blind children; and the Focus Beyond Fab Lab, a project in partnership with Saint Paul Public Schools aimed at developing best practices for accessible makerspaces and curricula.
