Bits & Bytes Hosts a Virtual Grad School Panel

2 February 2026
  • When: Thursday, 2/5 starting at 3:30 pm
  • Where: Anderson 329
  • What: We’ll been joined virtually by 4 Carleton Computer Science Alumni who are currently in graduate school.  Specifically, we’ll be hosting:
    • Eva Cao ’25 MS at Carnegie Mellon,
    • Sky Lu ’25 MS & distributed network research assistant at Brown,
    • Quoc Nguyen ’23 PhD at University of Minnesota, and
    • Cecilia Enrlichman ’24 PhD at University of Michigan

Our guests will talk about their experiences on choosing to attend graduate school, the application process, and what it has been like since they got there. Most of the time for this event will be dedicated to Q&A from all of you. So, if you have questions about graduate school, please bring them with you! This is a great event if you are thinking about graduate school (either right after Carleton or farther out), but could also be interesting if you don’t actually know what graduate school is, or if you just want to hear from some alumni about what life is like after Carleton.

Anyone with an interest in CS is welcome (and encouraged!) to attend our CS department events. Whether you’re a first year who is just about to take their first CS course, or a senior CS major who wants to hear about topics beyond the classes they have taken, to a studio art major who just thinks that CS is cool, we’d love to see you on Thursday afternoons.

Join us for treats, beverages, community and conversation.
