The CS Department has 2 types of roles for student workers: Course Staff and Prefects. These are two great roles to strengthen your CS skills while gaining relevant experience for a variety of CS and non-CS jobs outside of Carleton!
As was the case last year, the applications for the Course Staff and Prefect positions are separate. If you want to be considered for both positions, kindly fill out both applications!
To work as Course Staff, complete the Course Staff Application. To work as a Prefect, complete the Prefect Application.
What do Course Staff do?
As Course Staff you may be tasked with either grading, lab assisting or some combination of both for one of the courses we offer.
What does a Prefect do?
As a Prefect you will help support and facilitate the learning of students in the course you are assigned to.
