
Consider the reputable study abroad programs at the Aquincum Institute of Technology (AIT) in Budapest, Hungary, designed for students interested in computer science. For 15 years, AIT has hosted over 1,500 Computer Science students from the most prestigious American universities. AIT is a close-knit and friendly institution, offering outstanding student services, alongside demanding courses, with typical class sizes of 10-15 students.
All classes are conducted in English at AIT’s campus on the lovely banks of the Danube River. Students live in lively neighborhoods of Budapest and have ample opportunities to interact with Hungarian students and explore Hungary and Europe.
Tailored to the needs of North American computer science and software engineering undergraduates in their sophomore through senior years, AIT offers a semester-long Computer Science program. It is made up of 3 course groups, each containing several different course offerings:
- Foundational Courses in Computer Science
- Computing Elective Courses
- Humanities Courses Related to Hungary’s Rich Cultural Heritage
