Almost all of you know Paula Stowe, the fabulous administrative assistant in computer science. Paula’s work keeps the department running, and many students can speak to the way that Paula helps to foster community in the department. Paula is retiring this Friday, February 2nd, and she will be deeply missed by our department. I want to thank her for all of her service, and I hope you’ll join me in this thanks and stop by her office to bid her farewell!
With Paula’s departure, Marla Erickson has joined the department as the new administrative assistant in computer science. Marla brings a wealth of prior experience at Carleton, including in other administrative assistant roles, and I know that she’ll be excellent in her role in our department.
