  • CS Tea Talk on Feb. 2: Doing Some Good With Machine Learning

    Dr. Lester Mackey  will speak about “Doing Some Good with Machine Learning“. Dr. Mackey works at Microsoft Research, and is also an adjunct professor at Stanford University. He is focused on making positive societal impacts through research, and the work makes contributions both to core machine learning techniques and to interesting applications.
    CS Tea meets 3:30-4:30pm on Thursday, February 2 in Anderson 329. We’ll gather in person, and our speaker will join us remotely. CS Tea talks are always intended for everyone: we’d love to have you there regardless of whether you’re a CS major or how much CS you’ve taken!  Tea and cookies will be available.
