UofM Computational Biology Virtual Open House – Nov. 6

27 October 2020

The University of Minnesota Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BICB) program is hosting a virtual open house for prospective students interested in learning more about research and career opportunities at the intersection of biology, computer, and data sciences here in Minnesota and beyond. Undergraduates and post-bac students from surrounding areas and other graduate programs are invited to attend to learn about BICB and network with current graduate students from a wide range of research disciplines.

The open house will be held online on Friday, November 6, 2020, from 9:30 am–2 pm. The event will consist of a live session between 9:30 am–12:30 pm (information session about our graduate program, research talks, and a Q&A panel with current students). Between 12:30–2 pm, we will host a virtual poster session where visitors can interact with current students to learn about their research and experiences.
