Computing Conference for Students

10 November 2005

The 39th annual Midwest Instruction and Computing Symposium (MICS) will take place on April 7-8, 2006 at Iowa Wesleyan College. This is a technical computer science conference aimed at students, which gives students an opportunity to present papers and posters about work that they’ve done. The conference also has a programming contest and a robot contest, so it sounds like lots of fun! Do you have a project that you might consider presenting? Check out http://www.iwc.edu/mics for more information. (If you want to submit an abstract, the deadline is January 6, 2006.)
