The School of CTI at DePaul University and the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University (NWU) invite students to apply to the second summer of an NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) students in Medical Informatics. In line with DePaul’s mission, we especially encourage application from traditionally underrepresented groups including women, minorities and first generation college goers. The 8 students selected to participate will be immersed in a research environment under the mentoring of CTI and NWU faculty. Participants will receive a stipend of $4,000 for the ten weeks, meal allowance, and travel subsidy to attend a conference. The application deadline is March 15th, 2006.
