Carleton’s 2018 United Way drive succeeded in raising $66,630 toward our campus goal of $70,000. The 173 pledges from Carleton faculty, staff, and retirees made a huge contribution toward the community goal of $400,000.
With this year’s campaign over, the Rice County Area United Way now shifts to allocating the funds raised from the community to the many local organizations that need United Way support.
Every dollar donated to the United Way campaign will go to local programs that serve our neighbors in one of seven key areas:
- Alleviate hunger
- Stabilize families
- Help in times of crisis
- Stable housing for all
- Every child prepared to succeed in school, and beyond
- Good health for all, regardless of income
- Community connectedness
Please contact the coordinator of the campus drive with any questions or comments:
