Climate Action Week in February was full of events aimed at inspiring people to take individual actions as well as to promote the Carleton Sustainability Office. This year, Climate Action Week focused on the “2019 Year of Water” as put forth by the City of Northfield and the Cannon River Watershed Partnership. In total, there were ten events ranging from dinner discussions with recovered meals to a water-themed trivia night.
Each year, these events are all planned by student employees in the Sustainability Office and are free and open to the public to learn more about issues surrounding climate change. If you are interested in joining in next year, look for information on the Sustainability at Carleton Website.
